Sailing the Wild West Coast
The map below shows where we usually sail—the beautiful west coast of Norway. Sometimes we visit towns with docks, but we prefer dropping anchor in quiet, lonely bays surrounded by nature.
A 5-day trip is just long enough to slow down and enjoy the journey. We don’t rush to check off places. What matters most is that we have a comfortable sail with as little motion as possible.
If the weather is calm, we can reach the spots you’d like to see. If the wind picks up, we simply move further inland, where the water stays flat. Places like Rosendal or Lofthus are perfect for this.
Think of the map as inspiration. The final plan will be shaped by the weather—and by what you want to see along the way.
